Osteopathy Appointment Fees in Bromley & Blackheath
Transparent Fees for Longer, More Detailed 60-minute Appointments
Many osteopathy clinics work with shorter appointment structures, often around 30 minutes. Dr Datler Sports Clinic has consciously chosen a different model. Most osteopathy and musculoskeletal appointments with osteopath Dr Christoph Datler are 60 minutes — which makes a significant difference to your experience and enables meaningful therapeutic change. Patients often mention the extra time for thorough assessment, clear explanations and treatment in their clinic reviews.

What Your Appointment with Osteopath Dr Christoph Datler Includes
|
Where clinically appropriate, your integrative musculoskeletal care includes:
|
Our extended appointments create the space needed for higher-quality care. By the time you’ve discussed your symptoms, settled in, and changed clothing, a 30min visit may leave only 15–20 minutes for actual manual therapy. Our 60-minute session, however, typically allows 45–50 minutes of uninterrupted treatment. This gives scope to explore several problem areas in one visit, refine the diagnosis, and work without feeling hurried — often reducing how often you need to come back. Fewer, longer sessions also cut down on travel, minimise disruption to your routine, and create a calmer environment that supports meaningful therapeutic change.
|
Cancellation PolicyYour time as well as that of our practitioners is important to us. If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hrs in advance and we can cancel/move your appointment. This is based on mutual respect and repeated failure to attend without notice might prevent you from booking future appointments. Short notice cancellations do not allow the slot to be offered to patients on the waiting list and are charged at the full fee.

Block BookingsAfter the initial assessment and evaluation, treatment and Pilates packages are convenient and cost efficient when longer treatment courses are needed, e.g. recovering from injury, preparing for events or taking care of your health regularly.

Private Medical Insurance
Our treatments are covered by many private medical insurances and you might be able to claim back the costs of your treatment from AVIVA, WPA, Cigna, Vitality, Healix, etc. depending on your policy and authorisation requirements.
We would recommend that you discuss the claiming process with your insurer first or get a GP referral. We are happy to supply you with detailed receipts or any other documentation to support your claim. Please note, Vitality only covers 30min appointments, and AVIVA covers 20min appointment costs, and these need to be arranged on a case by case basis, please get in touch. We are currently unable to accept healthcare policies issued by AXA/PPP or BUPA unless you have a specific authorisation as they restrict our treatment times to 20min, which does not work for an in-depth assessment and effective treatment. AXA international and Bupa Global usually cover the appointment fees.
